Exciting weekend for CBC this Labor Day weekend in Twin Creeks. Cepeda boys represented well this weekend showcasing our 10U & 11U teams out of Vacaville. Not to mention it was the last tournament of the season for our 14U Bulls. All three teams made it to Monday and played meaningful games.
It has been a successful season for the 14U team and I couldn't be more proud of our boys! We improved with every tournament, and our boys are getting recognized as a solid players/team. Over half of our current roster of Bulls will join us for the Fall Ball which will start in October. With a couple new faces joining the team, I know will give every team a run between the lines.
Our Vacaville team run by Dyron Rolling started the season on great note. 11U led the way with going undefeated into Sunday, and making it into the semi-finals on Monday. 10U played their hearts out and adjusted well to playing in the travel ball circuit. They lost a couple, but finished the weekend with a W! Many of our boys (10U) are coming straight from little league, and are adjusting well to the new style of game.
Our young bulls are looking forward to practicing this week and working hard to prepare for the next battle. Lots was learned throughout the weekend, and we will target those areas this week on the practice fields to make sure they understand and apply what our staff is teaching.
Please check our calendar for dates and location for our upcoming tournaments. Come support our boys at the yard! Let's go Bulls!
