Ali Cepeda is an internationally recognized elite baseball coach and trainer. Ali brings energy, enthusiasm, and a vast array of knowledge to the game.

The son of Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda, Ali has been around a high level of baseball from a young age. He played professionally in the Giants organization before pursuing a career giving back to the game he loves. He is the founder of Cepeda baseball in Martinez and is a world class baseball instructor.

Malcolm Cepeda played 13 years of professional baseball with the Kansas City Royals and SF Giants minor league system. He currently resides in Corpus Christi , Texas. Malcolm is a older brother to Ali and equally shares the love the game, and developing youth in baseball. 

 


 

Dyron Rolling joins Cepeda Baseball Clubs!! Dyron has more than 20 years experience playing at every level, while completing his career as a  pro independent player. As he spends quality time mentoring players on and off the field. Coach will bring a positive but firm attitude, and instill winning ways to CBC. As an instructor for Cepeda Baseball he will focus on the younger age groups hoping to provide them with the fundamental tools, skills and passion necessary to learn and love the game of baseball.

Dyron will also be the catalyst for Cepeda's administrative side. With a strong background and knowledge of business, Dyron will help guide our clubs towards a bright future. Our goal is simply teach each player that there is more to life than sports, and help those build that bridge between life and athletics.

 

 


 

Russell Jacob JR,.  born January 2, 1975 Lives in Winter Haven, Florida. Began baseball career with Seattle Mariners from 1993 – 1997, as starter, bullpen pitcher. During his time with Seattle, Russell was selected to several Instructional leagues; Named Top Prospect in the Mid West League and Selected to Hawaii Winter League. While playing in Hawaii Russell was named to the ALL STAR Team and Player Representative. In 1998 Russell was selected in the Rule 5 draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks and was named best fastball in the California League and also selected to play in the Arizona Fall League. He had season ending elbow sugary in 1999. Finish his playing career with the Boston RedSox in 2001. Still having the passion for the game Russell pursued coaching opportunities with Americas Baseball Camps, IBC (Summer Showcase Team for College and Pro Prospects), Polk State College with Joe Arnold. Pitching Coach for Utica Brewers of the NYCBL in 2011, (summer collegiate baseball league), Pitching staff posted a 2.36 ERA. best in the league with the league leading record of 41-14 and NABF World Series Champions.

 

 


 

Anthony Manuel is one of the premier baseball instructors in the country. Anthony brings knowledge, experience, and energy to the field to teach youth players the intricacies of the game at the highest level.

After an accomplished college and professional baseball career he is now one of the most in-demand coaches in Northern California.

As a player he played collegiately for Biola University in La Mirada, California and was drafted by the Mets in 2005. After a 5 year pro career Anthony is now dedicated to giving back to the game. The son of former Major League manager Jerry Manuel, Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge to the diamond.

 


 

Marc Depew is the Head coach for the 11u orange team. Marc has a strong knowledge for pitching, and mentoring our players. Playing dual sports (Basketball / Baseball) growing up, coach Marc brings the strong competitive desire to win, and strives hard for all players to meet those requirement.  Marc has coached with Cepeda for 3 years, and now is skilled enough to teach any of our clubs the CBC system.

Marc Depew also serves on our Board of Directors and plays a huge part in our future plans as an a organization.

 


 

Jason Ferber has been working with Cepeda Baseball Clubs for the past 5 years, assisting in numerous baseball camps and clinics throughout the United States. He has been a key hitting and infield instructor, teaching both beginning and advanced offensive and defensive techniques to children of all age groups.

Jason was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and after an impressive high school and American Legion career, he relocated to Redwood City, California in 1996 to play baseball for Canada College, a Division 3 school of the California Coastal Conference. After Canada College, he moved to San Francisco and continued to play independent baseball for 5 years for the KC Monarchs of the SFNABA, based out of Oakland, California.

Jason has been the full time head coach of the 10/11U NYC Stars travel team since 2010. He works individually with many advanced players at their indoor facility located on the upper west of Manhattan. Through hard work and dedication, he has restructured and transformed the program into a highly competitive team.

Jason brings a different type of energy when communicating with young players. His passion for imparting knowledge to the younger generations is seldom seen in this industry. As a result of his genuine enthusiasm, motivational energy, and innovative teaching style, Jason has received glowing recommendations from players and parents alike, making him an indispensible part of any baseball organization.

 


 

Nik Edmondson, M.A. is one of the top Performance Consultants in the world, specializing in mind-body performance training for baseball players.

Nik has an immense knowledge of mental training, baseball skills, conditioning, physical training, and athletic performance. He does speaking, consulting, and training with individuals and baseball organizations to teach what elite mind-body performance is and how to attain it.

Nik holds a Master of Arts degree in Sport Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California and is a member of the National Academy of Sport Medicine.

As a player Nik competed at the Division 1 and professional levels of baseball, where he started at every position on the field. He played collegiately at Southwestern Oregon CC and St. Peter’s College and professionally for a baseball club in Prague, Czech Republic.

Rob Benjamin: 

Born and raised in Santurce, PR, Coach Rob played four years of varsity Baseball at Truman H.S. in NYC. After High School, Coach Rob went on to redshirt at Florida State University his freshman year. He then transferred back to NYC and played at John Jay College and Baruch College. At Baruch, he helped lead the team to its first conference title as well as a berth in the Regional Div. III tournament. He garnered All-CUNY Player of the Year, and Pitcher of the Year, while achieving Div.III All-American status. Currently Coach Rob holds a BA/MA in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. 

After college Coach Rob went on to play two seasons with the Washington Wild things of the Independent Frontier League and three years in the Puerto Rican Double A league.

During the summer of 2012, he had the opportunity to be one of the lead instructors at the Cepeda Baseball Camp in Beaver Valley, Cooperstown, NY. Coach Rob will now help direct the NY Cooperstown camp with Ali Cepeda for 2013.

 


 

Ramiro “Jojo” Adeva  comes to CBC with a passion for baseball that began at the age of 5.  Playing for 13 years, he was able to develop his baseball skill set and IQ through competitive travel ball.  Now, having two boys of his own, he continues giving back to the sport that gave him so much growing up by coaching his two young boys in the early stages of their baseball careers.  Jojo shares in CBC’s vision and goals to challenge the youth to not only be better baseball players, but better people in general.  Living in Southern California, Jojo helps to broaden CBC’s outreach across the state.  His knowledge of the game and his proven track record to mentor youth will be an added asset to CBC.

 


  

Kirk Forbes -  Grew up in Richmond Ca, attended and played high school baseball at West Nottingham Academy. After my senior year I excepted a scholarship to play Baseball for Tennessee State University. I played 2nd base for three years. As a junior I was selected in the 11th round by the Montreal Expos, where I spent 5 years in there Minor league system. My coaching and mentoring of kids spans over three decades focusing on the development of baseball fundamentals.

 


 

Mike Brown II (Brownie) grew up in Vacaville, Ca. where he played baseball from 6 years old all the way to high school. He graduated Vacaville High with honors in 1989. It was at that time he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 5th round of the June 1989 draft. He played in the Pirates minor league system, from 1989 to 1997. In 1990 he was New York Penn league all-star, and in 1993 he also made the Carolina League all-star team. At the end of the 93 season he was added to the Pirates 40 man roster and in 1995 was called up to the big leagues in September. His career ended in 1997 due to an injury, and now dedicates his time to coaching his and other kids in the Solano county area

 


 

Joshua Jordan is an acclaimed developer, artist, designer, and media production expert who’s works have been nominated for academy awards. He has produced work for Lady Gaga and contributed to countless major motion pictures including as Spiderman, Iron Man, Batman, Indiana Jones, and Social Network.

Josh is the technical expert behind cepedabaseball.com. He is the founder of Dependent Media and brings creative genius to the team.
