Our young bulls lost a tough one this afternoon in Elk Grove. We let a early 4-0 lead slip away, and they stole the momentum for the rest of the game. Got to tip your hat to Solano Blast, but I still think we are a better team. Second tournament bringing home 2nd place….not bad! Back to practice and get ready for next weekend.

Cepeda Baseball has joined forces with Amateur Baseball Report (ABR) to bring a series of events to the West Coast in 2012.

What is ABR?
The Amateur Baseball Report (ABR) was developed to provide High School and Youth Baseball participants a way to measure national player status, gauge yearly progression, and provide an opportunity to gain national recognition and exposure from College Coaches and MLB Scouts. To achieve consistent and accurate rankings, ABR uses its unified and comprehensive evaluation system to rank individuals accordingly on the State, Regional, & National levels which are published on the ABR website

As a Partner with USSSA Baseball (United States Specialty Sports Association) and its ancillary International Programs, ABR stands alone as the only comprehensive global exposure vehicle available to the high school & youth baseball communities today.

Benefits of ABR:

  • Guaranteed exposure to College Coaches & MLB Scouts.  ABR hires these individuals to conduct many of the events
  • Results are given to the MLB Scouts & College Coaches after the events
  • ABR’s unified evaluation system allows individuals to see how they compare on a State, Regional, and National level
  • With the involvement of the International programs, individuals are able to see where they rank on a global level
  • Participants receive top instruction from College Coaches, MLB Scouts, and former MLB players at the ABR instructional events
  • Provides individuals the opportunity to represent the USSSA National Team and compete in International competition
  • Provides exposure through the ABR magazine & website

Please enjoy more CYD pictures of our first event at AT&T park. The fiesta was a very positive way to reach out to our youth in the latin community.
